What a fun-filled summer we have had so far! Our very first week of camp introduced many new and exciting programs for members. A Club member favorite was the "Kids in the Woods" Event hosted by the US Forest Service.
Over 90 Club members participated in the event, learning more about the wildlife food web and how to tell the story of a tree by reading its tree rings, having fun creating native wildflower "seed bombs" with seeds from the Mt. Shasta Ranger Station greenhouse and recycled paper, and exploring Engine 62.
A special thank you to the US Forest Service for providing our Club members with such a fun experience for the second year in a row!
