Feel Good Friday

We would like to share with you our Club's tradition, Feel Good Fridays, a day that celebrates fun, inclusion, and kindness. Where Club staff recognize individual youth for their random acts of kindness during that week and empower Club members to remain resilient, kind, and compassionate, especially in the face of adversity.

This Feel Good Friday, we would like to share how Club members gathered at the Mt Shasta Police Department to express their gratitude and appreciation for the Police Department’s dedication to the safety and well-being of our community to celebrate National Police Week. Youth gifted handmade cards for the Officers, and glittered their lawn with appreciation flags containing heartfelt messages. During the celebration, was the presentation of a Recognition Award to Parish Cross for his service not only as Chief of Police, but his dedication and support he has provided over the years serving on the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta’s Board of Directors and his service as Board Chair.
