Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta is looking for dynamic, creative, and skilled individuals who love creating powerful, creative content to advance the organization’s mission in a fun, multifaceted environment. 

  Primary Function:  

Under the supervision of the CEO, the Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant is responsible for continuously maintaining the organization’s brand aesthetics, internally and externally. This includes reviewing, updating, and maintaining the organization’s visual representation in all aspects of design such as marketing materials, brochures, flyers, posters, e-newsletters, and annual reports, as well as maintaining the Club’s website through Wix.

  Position Responsibilities:  

  1. Is responsible for developing company imageries and delivering a powerful and consistent brand. This will be achieved via digital and print form and by leveraging a proven graphics ability with great attention to detail

  2. Designs marketing materials, brochures, flyers, posters, annual reports, etc. 

  3. Creates graphic content for online presence on social networking sites, e-newsletter, and public service announcements. 

  4. Maintains the organization’s website on Wix which includes graphic design elements, as well as content writing if there is a demonstrated experience. 

  5.  Performs other related graphic design/marketing duties as requested.

Skills/Knowledge Required:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Extensive experience in graphic design

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organization and attention to detail

  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality

  Wage / Benefits:  

This position is a part-time position at 20-29 hours per week starting at $18.50-$23/hour with the opportunity for merit bonuses and may be worked remotely. Sign-on bonuses are available for qualified candidates.
