Back to School Looks Different this year.

At the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta, now, more than ever, we are called upon to harness the power of our experience serving the youth of Siskiyou County by adapting and finding innovative ways to empower young people to remain resilient, to draw upon their strengths, and work towards creating a brighter future for this pivotal next generation of builders, innovators, and leaders.

To best meet the needs of youth, we have placed social-emotional wellness at the forefront. Through the onboarding of a trauma-informed specialist who works closely with our staff and Club members, together, we are creating an enhanced support network for youth, empowering them to achieve positive outcomes, while also providing the expertise necessary to assist youth who are struggling with mental health challenges. We are infusing Club programs and Club culture with a strength-based and trauma-informed approach aimed at building resilience & coping skills, providing a much-needed sense of safety & routine, and connecting with youth who might otherwise be isolated & overwhelmed.

In order for us to continue to provide youth with additional social-emotional support, we need your help.

Kindly consider giving a gift and, together, we can continue to create a positive future for the youth of Siskiyou County. One where they will not only survive, but thrive.

Thank you all again for your continued support. From everyone at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta, we are wishing you and your family good health and happiness.
