This Feel Good Friday, we would like to share how Club members were invited to learn, explore, create and innovate through Science in the Summer.
When school is out, science is in. GSK Science in the Summer has been inspiring young scientists for more than 30 years, and we are so grateful to have been able to offer our Club members this enriching program!
Club members had the exciting opportunity to play the role of engineers and tackle challenges in electrical, biomedical, environmental, and structural engineering through experiments and activities. Youth explored the engineering design process as they solved real-world problems—including managing a playground’s stormwater runoff and designing a sturdy lightweight pedestrian bridge.
Thank you to GSK in partnership with The Franklin Institute for providing this program to the Club, and to Siskiyou Works for your stellar assistance!
