Essential. We have been hearing this word a lot lately― essential workers, essential needs, essential services. Something essential is absolutely necessary or extremely important. 

 

By that definition, we are essential― to Alex who can’t wait to connect with his favorite staff and friends at the Club, to Freya whose family received a box of free food during these difficult times, to Sydney who was in need of additional emotional and academic support, and to Morgan whose parents are both working and is in need of extra care during the day. We are essential to them, and YOU are essential to us! 

 

Simply put, we cannot do it without you. You are helping us remain connected and committed to serving youth, and our community. When we conducted wellness checks, provided enriching virtual Club programming, and provided weekly free boxes of food to any family in need, supporters like you helped make that happen. And as we continue to keep our doors open helping youth remain engaged and on-track academically through distance learning, your support can assist us. YOU make it possible. YOU are essential to us. 

 

You are essential to our Mission and to Club kids on Giving Tuesday, and every day. Your gift on Giving Tuesday will ensure that even though these are uncertain times, youth stay on a path towards a great future.
