Where fun and social-emotional wellness is placed at the forefront; supporting confidence, creativity, and connection during a time when youth need it most. Summer is an exciting time for our Club members as they are invited to explore new hobbies, dive-into new experiences, build life-long relationships, while giving them a safe, fun place where they can dream, learn, grow and thrive.

At our Summer Camp, Club members learn how to make the ordinary extraordinary! Our summer programs explore this world & beyond through weekly themes that are incorporated into each of our programs which include Summer Brain Gain, STEM, gardening, sports, games, the arts, outdoor adventures, mountain biking, and project-based activities.

COVID-19 SAFTEY INFORMATION

Safety remains the number one priority of Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta and we are doing everything possible to keep children, our staff, and volunteers protected from the COVID-19 virus. We continue to monitor all updates from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local and state health departments for updated information.

Given the state of the virus in our community and with guidance from local health officials, the Club is continuing to remain open with the following precautions in-place to ensure the health and safety of both members and staff:

  • Wellness monitoring

  • Increased sterilization

  • Required hand-washing

We realize that Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta is one of the only places that some of the families in our community can turn to when schools are closed. We are monitoring this diligently and will continue to operate with these limitations in place as long as we are able to provide a safe environment for young people. As always, we place the safety of our youth and staff at the highest level.
